Boeing delivered 48 aircraft in July, down from 60 in June, but five more than the same month last year, marking its strongest July performance since 2017, when it handed over 58 jets.
In July, Boeing delivered 37 737 MAX jets, including 20 to aircraft lessors and 17 to airlines. It also handed over eight 787 Dreamliners, two 777 freighters, and one 767 freighter.
Boeing booked 31 gross orders during the month, comprising of 30 737 MAX jets and one 787 Dreamliner. The Republic of Iraq cancelled one 787 order, though it still holds seven outstanding 787 orders.
As of the end of July, Boeing reported 699 gross orders for 2025, or 655 net orders after cancellations and conversions. Its backlog stood at 5,968 aircraft.
The US planemaker still trails behind European rival Airbus with monthly deliveries. Airbus delivered 67 aircraft in July, down from 77 a year earlier.
Airbus also retained its lead in the single-aisle segment, handing over 286 A320neo-family jets so far this year, versus 243 737 MAX aircraft delivered by Boeing.
