Boeing delivered 44 aircraft during February, up from 27 planes that were delivered during the same month of the year prior.
Boeing’s CEO Kelly Ortberg said last month that deliveries in February would be “down a little bit” from January, when Boeing delivered 45 aircraft during the month – including 40 737s.
During February, Boeing delivered 32 737 MAX aircraft to customers including Air India, Ryanair and AerCap. The company also delivered a total of five 787 aircraft to United Airlines, EVA Air, China Eastern Airlines and Juneyao Airlines. Air Lease Corporation also received one Dreamliner.
The manufacturer delivered seven freighters, this included two 777Fs - one to Air China Cargo and the other to China Southern Airlines. FedEx and UPS both received one 767-300F each, while the USAF Tanker Programme took delivery of one 767-2C.
In addition to deliveries, Boeing also reported a total of 13 gross orders, including a purchase from Singapore-based lessor BOC Aviation for five 737 MAXs. A further eight MAX jets were ordered by an unidentified customer.
During 2024, Boeing has delivered 89 aircraft and has received gross orders for 49 jets.
Boeing's backlog as of February 28, 2025, stands at 6,197 aircraft.
