BBN Airlines Indonesia, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has added four new aircraft to its fleet with the delivery of one 737-400SF and three 737-800NG aircraft.
Bolstering BNN Airlines Indonesia’s existing two 737-800BCFs, the fleet will operate under the airline’s cargo Airline Operator Certificate (AOC) which it received on August 31, 2023. After undergoing a redelivery check at FL Technics Indonesia, the aircraft will be used for both domestic and international routes from the beginning of next year, with a focus on the China to Bali route.
Describing ACMI providers as “still a rarity in Asia,” Martynas Grigas, chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, explained that the airline’s expanding capacity is “expected to give an extra boost to support the ever-growing aviation needs in Indonesia".
As the world’s largest ACMI provider, Avia Solutions Group currently operates a fleet of 192 aircraft across all continents.
