Etihad increases frequencies across Middle East and India

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has added more flights to destinations across the Middle East and Indian subcontinent; culminating in a total of almost 27% more weekly departures than last summer.

Services to Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia will now increase by seven flights a week, with services to Amman in Jordan increasing by an extra four. Lebanon’s Beirut will be served by two additional services and Sri Lanka’s Colombo by four. Additionally, India’s Kolkata and Bangalore will benefit from an additional one and three services respectively.

“These latest flight increases aligned with our seamless and practical connections at Abu Dhabi and our growing global network offer our guests more opportunities to fly where they want at a time that suits them,” commented Etihad’s chief revenue and commercial officer, Arik De.
