Atlas Air Worldwide reaches tentative agreement with dispatchers

Atlas Air Worldwide has reached a tentative agreement with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 210 which represents the Dispatchers of its subsidiaries, Atlas Air, Inc. and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide, Inc.

The proposed four-year extension agreement follows an initial five-year contract that was ratified in 2012. The tentative agreement includes pay increases, as well as benefits associated with the Dispatcher’s relocation to the Cincinnati Operating Hub. Details of the proposed agreement will be made available to Dispatch employees it covers by IBT Local 210.

“We are pleased to have reached this tentative agreement that offers highly competitive pay increases as well as favorable moving allowances for our valued Dispatchers. It also extends a solid contract that continues to serve us all very well,” said John Dietrich, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide.

“We appreciate the IBT leadership and negotiating committee’s hard work, time and effort during this process. We thank them for their genuine interest in reaching this tentative agreement on behalf of the exemplary professionals they represent.”

The company’s Dispatchers are responsible for planning, dispatching, and oversight of all Atlas and Polar aircraft during flight.
