The representatives of Armenia’s Armavia Airline Company and Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport are discussing their future course of action after Armavia declared a protest at the Airport’s pricing policy. Now it seems Armenia International Airports Company stated that Armavia Company was prohibited to carry out flights toward Russia and to enter Russian air space because of its accumulated debts. “Our company negatively assesses Armavia Airline Company’s inappropriate exploitation and [its] unfounded and false comments, and regrets that solely the national carrier has found itself in such situation,” a statement read yesterday. Then not one hour later all Armavia flights into Russia were resumed in full. Strange goings on, investors beware.
