Allegiant Travel Company has named its new CEO and president as Gregory C. Anderson.

Anderson has been with the company since 2010 and has held several leadership positions during his tenure. He will succeed Maurice J. Gallagher, who will be retiring from the role effective September 1.
Gallagher, who will remain on as executive chairman of the company’s board, described his successor as having “phenomenal leadership, skills, business acumen, industry knowledge and work ethic.”
