Air Lease Corporation (ALC) signed long-term lease agreements with Uzbekistan’s Qanot Sharq Airlines for five new A321neo family aircraft.
The aircraft consist of three A321XLRs and two A321LRs.
Nosir Abdugafarov, owner of Qanot Sharq Airlines, said these new planes will allow the carrier to open new routes and improve fuel efficiency.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery to the Uzbek airline in 2026 through 2027, coming directly from ALC’s orderbook with Airbus.
