Turkish Airlines subsidiary Ajet will start flights between Turkey and Damascus later this month.
Services to the Syrian capital will commence from Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport on June 16, 2025, with the airline operating four weekly services on this route. AJet will offer this as a daily service from July.
The following day on June 17, the airline will connect the two countries capital cities, with a new route from Ankara to Damascus.
Turkish Airlines resumed flights to Syria in January following a 13-year suspension.
