Air New Zealand will operate out of JFK's New Terminal One

Air New Zealand will move its operations to the New Terminal One at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), that is scheduled to open in 2026.

The New Terminal One is part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's $19bn transformation of JFK, which comprises of two new terminals, two expanded terminals and a new ground transportation centre.

Air New Zealand has been operating three weekly 787-9 flights between Auckland and JFK's Terminal 1 since launching its services at the airport in 2022.

Airlines such as Air France, KLM, Etihad, LOT Polish Airlines and Korean Air have all also confirmed that they will also be operating out of the New Terminal One,
