Air India has suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv with immediate effect following continued tensions in the Middle east.
“In view of the current situation in parts of the Middle East, scheduled operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv are suspended with immediate effect until further notice,” wrote a spokesperson for the airline on X, formerly Twitter. “We are continuously monitoring the situation and are offering a full refund to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Tel Aviv. Safety of our guests and crew remains our topmost priority.”
The airline suspended operations to and from Tel Aviv in October 2023, with operations resuming again in March of this year.
Air India is among a number of airlines such as Lufthansa, United and British Airways who have suspended their operations to the city.
