The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has extended a €140 million loan to the operator of Turkey's Antalya airport to improve its existing runway capacity and terminal infrastructure.
The capex bridge loan is the AIIB's first non-sovereign backed financing transaction in the airport industry, the statement said, and the financing package is provided in partnership with the International Finance Corp., a part of the World Bank Group, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
