Myanmar’s state-owned airline, Myanmar Airways, has called in consultants Avia Solution Group and GECAS for advice on how to expand its network and revise its organization, as part of a bid to serve more cities within the ASEAN region.
The airline recently signed a contract to lease six B737-800s and four B737-8 MAX between 2015 and 2020.
The airline will also purchase six ATR 72-600 aircraft for domestic services.
