Aeroitalia is planning to launch three new routes from Milan, Naples, and Rome to Marche Airport, connecting the city of Ancona and the Marche province with Italy's main cities. The airline will deploy its turboprop ATR 72-600 with 68 seat capacity on these routes starting October 1, 2023.
Gaetano Intrieri, chief executive, Aeroitalia, said: “The introduction of new routes represents a valuable opportunity to stimulate the economy and promote the development and accessibility of industries related to tourism and more. Our mission is to continue expanding our network to provide ever better and more convenient connections for our passengers.”
According to Cirium, Marche Airport has 14 weekly domestic flights operated by Ryanair and Volotea. Ryanair operates three weekly flights to Catania (CTA), while Volotea offers two weekly flights to Cagliari (CAG), four to Catania, two to Olbia (OLB), and three to Palermo.
Internationally, Marche Airport has more weekly flights, totaling 33 per week.
