Between the months of January and June of this year the Abu Dhabi Airports’ network saw passenger traffic reach 14 million. This is an increase of 33.5% compared to the same period last year.
Zayed International Airport (AUH) served a total of 13.7 million passengers during the six-month period. The airport also saw 84,286 flight movements during the first half of the year which is an increase of 24.3% when compared to the same period during the previous year.

In addition to increased passenger traffic, Abu Dhabi Airports expanded its customer base by introducing new airlines and new routes. US Bangla now serves Chittagong and Dhaka from Abu Dhabi, while British Airways has commenced daily flights to London Heathrow.
