Cyprus Airways has received one A220-300 from Azorra. The lessor acquired the aircraft from EGYPTAIR and was one of 12 aircraft it acquired in February 2024. “The delivery of this A220, featuring freshly overhauled and updated engines from Pratt & Whitney, will complement the airline’s existing Airbus fleet,” said Azorra founder and CEO John Evans. “The aircraft encompasses the latest technology in safety and operations and has one of the best environmental footprints of any aircraft flying,” commented Cyprus Airways CEO Thanos Paschalis. “Cyprus Airways is committed to developing its fleet based on safety, efficiency, sustainability and customer comfort.” Paschalis
