WorldACD: Asia Pacific cargo rates soar

Air cargo demand and rates from Asia Pacific regions are continuing to soar, according to WorldACD market data. Based on more than 450,000 weekly transactions covered by WorldACD data, overall tonnages and rates from Asia Pacific are up, with spot rates between Vietnam and Europe double their equivalent level this time last year, averaging $4.19 per kilo in the last seven weeks.
