IATA has released data for June of this year which shows global air cargo markets showing continued strong annual growth in demand. A general overview of the month shows that total demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometres (CTK’s), rose by 14.1% compared to levels in June of last year. Again, in comparison to the same time last year total capacity, measured in CTK’s, rose by 8.8%. “Air cargo demand surged in June.
