European Cargo is to open a new UK base at Cardiff Airport, Wales. The cargo operator will commence flights from the Welsh Capital’s airport from October 16, 2024, with a direct service between Cardiff and China. “We’re delighted to announce this exciting development at Cardiff Airport,” said Jason Holt, CEO of European Cargo. “We see Wales as a fantastic place to invest in. Cardiff Airport has many advantages, including 24-hour operational facilities and easy road access to the motorway network. We look forward to working with the Airport team.” Cardiff will become European Cargo’s second UK base, joining Bournemouth Airport
