Qantas to operate non-stop assistance flights for Australians wanting to return from Lebanon

As tensions continue to escalate within the Middle-East – Qantas is set to operate two non-stop flights between Cyprus and Sydney – in order to help Australians in Lebanon return home. The first service is expected to depart Larnaca in Cyprus on October 7, 2024, arriving in Sydney the following day. The second direct service is expected to depart two days later on October 9, 2024, with both services being operated by the airline’s 787 aircraft.
