Brussels Airlines release second quarter results

The Belgian national carrier, Brussels Airlines has reported an adjusted operating profit of €11.6 million in the second financial quarter of this year. It reported an operating loss of €47 million in the first six months of the year, down from a loss of €12 million in the first half of last year. Its operating expenses in the period was flat at €752 million. Revenues were down 3% to €683 million.
