British Airways is set to pause flights from London Heathrow to Beijing from October 26, 2024. “Like other UK carriers, we are not able to use Russian airspace which means our flight time is considerably longer, this also has a commercial implication,” said the airline. British airlines have been banned from landing at Russia’s airports and from crossing its airspace since February 2022.
