International airport group headquartered in Mexico City, ASUR reported its passenger traffic for August 2024 reached a total of 6 million passengers, down 2.8% compared to August 2023. The slight decrease was driven by its Mexico passengers down 10.7%. Its domestic and international traffic were down 9.1% and 12.6%, respectively. However, Colombia passengers were up 16.3% compared to last year. Puerto Rico was somewhat flat at a positive 1.6%. International traffic was the key driver for both Colombia and Puerto Rico.
