Boeing has appointed Robert “Kelly” Ortberg as the company’s new president and CEO, effective as of August 8, 2024. He will also serve on the company’s board of directors. He will succeed outgoing CEO Dave Calhoun and stated his intention to retire earlier this year following a recent string of safety and quality control issues at the company.
