The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will provide over $2bn in grants to improve airport infrastructure across the US. Around $1.9bn for 519 grants was announced on September 6, 2024, under the airport improvement program (AIP). An additional $269 million in supplemental discretionary grants were announced last year to fund 62 projects at 56 US airports.
