The National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) said it is intensifying its monitoring of Brazilian airline Voepass after the fatal crash on August 9, 2024. The crash involved an ATR 72-500 aircraft that occurred just north of Sao Paulo in the municipality of Vinhedo. The aircraft was carrying 58 passengers and four crew members. None survived. ANAC said in a statement it held a meeting with Voepass on August 16, following the accident, to address what measures the airline should adopt to ensure normal operations after the accident.
