Thai Airways International will terminate its low-cost and loss-making subsidiary Thai Smile Airways, its CEO Chai Eamsiri told Thai outlet The Nation.
The airline will transfer the subsidiary's fleet of 20 A320 aircraft to the parent company. The company said terminating the subsidiary would save on procurement costs and salaries.
