Aftermarket aircraft supplier Setna iO has purchased three on-lease 737-800s operating with American Airlines, via its affiliated leasing entity, Setna Aero Lease.
The aircraft, originally delivered to American Airlines in 2010, will continue operating with the carrier until redelivery. Setna iO will ultimately disassemble the engines and airframes for subsequent piece part sales.
