A month later than planned, the new US $2.7 billion Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport will open for business on January 12, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced.
In a January 6 statement, the authority said Elizabeth mayor Chris Bollwage and Lutz Weisser, managing director of Munich Airport International, would be present to see the first flights take off from the terminal.
