Lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) said this week it had delivered a new Airbus A320neo to client JetSMART, the Chilean low-cost carrier.
The lease, described by ACG as "long term", would add a "modern, fuel-efficient aircraft" to JetSMART's fleet, said Marine Benoit, vice president, ACG Latin America marketing.
JetSMART chief executive Estuardo Ortiz said the addition of the A320 took the airline closer to its ambition to have 100 aircraft in operation by 2028.
