Eve Air Mobility reaches 50 test flights milestone for eVTOL programme

The Brazilian-based company, Eve Air Mobility. said the flights, conducted since the prototype’s first sortie in December 2025, have generated over two hours of flight time and provided critical data on performance, systems behaviour and operational capabilities. The programme is now moving into more advanced testing, including higher speeds, energy management and stability assessments, ahead of full transition flights later this year.

Eve said insights from the test campaign will support the development of its conforming prototypes, with plans to build six aircraft for certification testing with Brazil’s aviation regulator, ANAC. The company aims to begin production of these prototypes later this year as it advances towards commercialisation.

Backed by aerospace group Embraer, Eve is focused on developing a broader urban air mobility ecosystem, including aircraft, aftermarket services and airspace management solutions, as it targets large-scale deployment of eVTOL operations in cities worldwide.
