Boeing commercial deliveries rise in first quarter 2026

Boeing reported an increase in commercial aircraft deliveries in the first quarter of 2026, with total handovers rising to 143 aircraft from 130 in the same period a year earlier.

The improvement was driven primarily by higher output of the 737 programme, with deliveries increasing to 114 aircraft from 105 in the first quarter of 2025. Widebody deliveries also saw modest gains, with 787 deliveries rising to 15 from 13, 777 deliveries increasing to eight from seven, and 767 deliveries edging up to six from five.

The figures suggest a gradual recovery in production across Boeing’s commercial programmes, with both narrowbody and widebody segments contributing to growth. While defense deliveries also rose to 30 units from 26 a year earlier, the company’s commercial performance remains the key focus for investors as it continues to stabilise output and address supply chain challenges.
