Allegiant Air has announced the purchase of advanced CFM International LEAP-1B engines to power up to 100 Boeing 737 MAX 7 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft scheduled to begin delivery in 2023. The engine order also includes a service agreement.
Allegiant has been a CFM customer since 2013 and its current fleet of 110 CFM56-powered aircraft. CFM and Allegiant continue to collaborate to enhance operational capability of Allegiant’s current fleet.
