A United Arab Emirates company, LGO International is preparing to launch a women only airline. The new airline will serve only women clients with an all-female crew, made available for high-profile and more conservative women, CEO Emmanuel Dubuisson said.
“We are looking into the possibility of setting up our base in Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, securing the requisite licences and readying the fleet with interiors designed for a female by a female,” says Debuisson. “We have a talented designer from Saudi Arabia who is compiling a catalogue of neutral-coloured interiors for clients to choose from” he adds, noting that all pink or black leather will be on the menu.
The airline may struggle to find two female pilots at the same time for a chartered flight, however Debuisson says once the airline has its own aircraft, it will “select female pilots in commercial airlines who want to adapt themselves to flying private jets on high-budget flights.”
