Wizz Air is to commence a new route between London and Medina. The service will be the first direct link between the UK and the Saudi Arabian city.
From August 1, 2025, the low-cost carrier will operate a daily service between London’s Gatwick airport and Medina. Wizz will deploy its A321XLR aircraft on this route.
The airline's new service to Saudi Arabia complements its upcoming flight to Jeddah, set to begin next month from Gatwick. Both routes will be operated using Wizz's A321XLR aircraft.
Additionally, Wizz stated that it will also commence a new daily flight between Gatwick and Warsaw Chopin Airport, from August 2, 2025.
