Wizz Air has maintained a ‘B’ rating in the 2024 climate ranking by The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
Ratings from the CDP highlight a company's environmental transparency and commitment to climate change.
“Our mission is to educate our customers about the impact of aviation on the environment and to promote more sustainable travel practices,” said Yvonne Moynihan, corporate and ESG officer at Wizz Air.
The ranking comes as Wizz continues to make progress towards its target of reducing CO2 intensity by 25% by 2030.
Wizz is also using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) across its operations, conducting trial operations with SAF blend on its two routes ahead of ReFuelEU mandates.
