Wizz Air has launched two new routes from London Luton Airport, one to Brasov in Romania and another to Cairo, Egypt. The Luton-Brasov route will give UK passengers a chance to visit the Transylvanian region of Romania while the Luton-Cairo route will take UK travellers to Sphinx International Airport to explore Egyptian capital, Giza.
“Expanding our flight offering to another location in Romania will give our UK based passengers a chance to explore this beautiful country on holiday, see friends and family and visit the best that Romania has to offer,” commented Zsuzsa Trubek, corporate communications manager, Wizz Air. “This is our 12th route to Romania from London Luton, and provides travellers with another opportunity to stay easily connected with Eastern Europe from the UK.”
The London-Cairo route will take off each Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will start from October 30.
Marion Geoffroy, managing director, Wizz Air UK, said: “Our routes from Egypt to the UK are fast becoming some of our most popular, so we are delighted to be offering passengers more ways to explore this culturally rich destination. From Sphinx International Airport, travellers have so much ancient history at their fingertips to discover. With slightly cooler temperatures in winter, it’s the perfect time to explore this vibrant destination as part of our new winter schedule.”
