Wizz Air carried 6,028,939 passengers in July 2023, representing a 26.6% increase compared to July 2022, at a load factor of 94.9%.
The airline launched its latest route to Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan region of Iraq affirming the airline’s commitment to ultra-low-cost travel in UAE. The airline also added a new aircraft to its fleet at London Luton taking the total number of aircraft to 12.
In July 2023, Wizz Air also launched WIZZ Discount Club Light, a new loyalty programme that offers customers exclusive in-flight discounts along with a range of offers, including special on-board coupons and promotions for the WIZZ Café and Boutique
The airline’s CO2 emissions were 50.7 grams per passenger/km about 6.8% lower than the same month last year.
