Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is planning to scale up its operations to the Maldives, starting in October 2022. From this month, Wizz Air will operate four weekly flights, gradually increasing it to six flights per week in November 2022 followed by daily service by the year end. Wizz Air plans to operate its latest A321neo on the Maldives route as it offers the lowest fuel burn, emissions, and noise footprint, the airline said.

The airline anticipates that the new route from Abu Dhabi will strengthen the connectivity between the Maldives and the rest of the world and more people can take advantage of the convenient link.
