Canadian airline WestJet is to axe transatlantic flights from Halifax to Dublin, Glasgow, London and Paris.
The carrier earlier announced it would reduce services out of other Canadian cities.
"Halifax remains an integral part of our network and we understand this is disappointing news for our guests and the local community," said John Weatherill, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, WestJet.
