Diederik Pen has been named president and CEO of WestJet Airlines, effective as of April 1, 2024. He will continue as the WestJet Group chief operating officer and reporting to the group CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech.

Pen joined the company in 2021 as executive vice president and chief operating officer with 25 years of aviation industry experience.
