Aerospace IT software providers Volartec have announced that Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI Air) is to be the launch customer for its Alkym Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance in South East Asia.
ITI’s adoption of the system is part of the airline’s ongoing fleet expansion involving the acquisition of ATR 42s.
John Barry, SVP Business Development at Volartec, said: “With Aerosapience, our sales partner in this region, we took part in an extensive RFP process which allowed ITI to examine which system would give them best value for their budget. ITI set out to get the maximum functionality within a budget. Alkym offered exactly this option proving once again start-up and expanding airlines are our key market.”
