Volaris has announced 40 new domestic routes connecting 16 new destinations with an aim to increase its market share in North America. The flights on new routes will commence from July 10 with ticket sale already online.
These new services to leisure destinations offering point-to-point connectivity and boosting regional connectivity across the country. The states of Guanajuato, Baja California, and Sinaloa will receive the largest number of new routes, with twelve, ten, and nine, respectively.
Of the 40 new routes, 30 routes are complete exclusive, without any competition, giving Volaris an edge over the regional market.
Commenting on the launch, Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President, Volaris said: “Due to a growing interest in knowing Mexico better, and the post-COVID new tourism trends, the company has seen the new touristic and industrial cities ready to be served.”
