Voalris unveils special Barbie-themed aircraft livery

Volaris has partnered with studio Warner Bros for a new Barbie-themed aircraft livery onA320neo, based on the upcoming Barbie movie. The airline plans to deploy the aircraft routes to Mexico’s seaside resorts and the southern United States.

Volaris will follow up the roll out of the plane with a number of social media campaigns around the movie.

Daniel Gelemovich, director of marketing and digital, Volaris, commented, "Beyond what Barbie represents for several generations, this alliance takes on special relevance with the plot of the film. Like the airline that was born to democratize the skies, Barbie's vision has adapted to the demand of a more responsible and demanding market for the representation and empowerment of all social groups."

The aircraft has already been spotted at Mexico City International Airport (MEX) with aviation enthusiasts posting images on social media.

The A320neo spotting the barbie livery is a six-year-old jet on lease from AerCap.
