Amadeus has signed an agreement to include Mexican ultra-low-cost airline Viva Aerobus on its worldwide network of travel businesses.
"Business customers and travel agents will be able to check the availability of flights and seats on the airline, offer them to their clients and make the reservations and necessary procedures for the complete satisfaction of the travellers," Viva said in a statement announcing the tie-up.
“Because of the extensive global network of travel agencies to which Amadeus gives us access, we will be able to
find new business opportunities and thus continue with our sustained growth," said Andrea Rodríguez, the airline's sales
“Travel agents will be able to search, compare, book and carry out operations of post-sales, with the advantages derived from the integration of sales in your mid and back office system," said Mariano Ludevid, airline distribution director at Amadeus.
