Vietjet posts revenue growth during first quarter

Vietjet has recorded strong financial results for the first quarter of the year, posting a passenger revenue of 17.92 trillion Vietnamese dongs ($690.5 million), with a pre-tax profit of 820bn ($31.5 million), marking a 25% increase on the same period of the year prior.

The airline’s consolidated revenue totalled 17.952 trillion dongs ($690.5 million), with a pre-tax profit of 836bn dongs ($32.1 million), up 24% on the same period of the year prior.

Ancillary revenue reached over 6.223 trillion dongs ($239.1 million), significantly contributing to total revenue at more than 35%.

As of March 31, 2025, Vietjet's total assets reached 98.766 trillion dongs ($3.79bn).

During the first three months of 2025, Vietjet transported more than 6.87 million passengers across nearly 38,700 flights, representing growth of over 9% and 12% respectively.

Vietjet received two new aircraft during the period, bringing its total fleet to 106 aircraft.
