Vietnam’s Vietjet has entered into a multi-year agreement with global aerospace aftermarket provider Satair, securing the company’s integrated material services (IMS) to support its Airbus fleet.
Through this agreement, Satair will provide consignment stock and pooling support for expendables specific to Vietjet’s A320 and A330 aircraft.
This will ensure the availability of critical materials such as spare parts, streamlining operations for the airline.
“We are excited to strengthen our long-term partnership with Satair,” said Nguyen Duc Thinh, Vietjet’s vice president. “As the largest Airbus operator in Vietnam, this agreement will enhance the efficiency of our material management, optimise maintenance costs, and further support the expansion of our fleet and global flight network.”
In December 2024, Vietjet took delivery of its 111th Airbus aircraft, as the airline continues to expand its fleet.
