VesselsValue's former VV Aviation section has been spun out to create a separate business called AviationValues Ltd.
Aviati0nValues announced on May 18 that the move "was in synchronisation with the acquisition of VesselsValue by Veson Nautical".
The creation of the new business sees 50 VesselsValue staff on the move to AviationValues, including directors Adrian Economakis, Ben Durber and Richard Rivlin, ISTAT appraisers Gary Crichlow and Kane Ray, as well as senior developers, engineers, data scientists, analysts, researchers and commercial staff.
“At AviationValues, our aircraft values and forecasts are updated every day by our proprietary algorithms, technologies and data discovery processes," said commercial director Adrian Economakis, work that means clients can "access up to date, objective and accurate current or future aircraft values".
The new company is headquartered in London, with research offices on the Isle of Wight and in Manila and development teams in Stoke on Trent.
AviationValues "will continue to invest heavily in the development of new solutions and increasing aircraft type coverage to regionals, freighters, business jets and general aviation assets", the company said.
