Global engineering, design and sustainability consultancy firm Ramboll has announced the appointment of Patrick Folley as head of aviation, UK.
Joining Ramboll from Jacobs, where he held the position of director of operations, Folley has accrued a breadth of experience collated over his 25 years in the industry including having worked on projects in over 60 countries worldwide.
Notably, Folley’s work projects at over 125 international airports include leading teams providing business and commercial support on the Heathrow Airport expansion, demand forecasting for Zurich airport, and acting as a lead advisor to the Indonesian government during the selection of a strategic investment partner.
Expressing his enthusiasm at welcoming Folley to the Ramboll team, Jayson Layfield, Ramboll’s UK executive director for buildings, commented that the company is “looking forward to benefitting from his extensive international expertise across [their] global team”. He added that as Ramboll has already delivered over 600 aviation projects across 45 countries, “there’s a brilliant opportunity to expand on this as the sector returns to growth following the pandemic”.
