Japanese carrier, Vanilla Air, plans to expand its operations to Southeast Asia from a second base in Taipei in October. Destinations are still to be confirmed but they are expected to include Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Vanilla Air is now a 100% subsidiary of ANA, when the joint venture between ANA and AirAsia was dissolved in 2013.
The airline expects to receive its ninth A320 in April, which will be used on daily flights between Osaka and Taipei.
